Pastor Anthony R. Couch is a compassionate leader, sound preacher and intellectual teacher. Pastor Couch has a heart for equipping servant leaders for and those in secondary leadership.

 

At an early age, Pastor Couch developed an undeniable love for God and through the preaching and teachings he experienced in church and at home, he desired salvation. In October of 2000, under the leadership of his father, he answered the voice of the Lord and at the age of 12, delivered his first message “Let Go of That Trash Can” urging the people of God to humble themselves ,and pray, and seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways;” (2 Chronicles 7:14). 

 

He has served in many capacities in the church, such as, Usher, Praise & Worship leader, Choir director, Youth bible study teacher and Youth Leader. For 13 years, Elder Couch served as Youth Pastor at Stronghold Deliverance Ministries, INC. under the leadership of Bishop B. Ivan Broomer. 

 

In the spring of 2019, during his prayer time, the Lord spoke “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee” (Genesis 12:1). Obeying the voice of the Lord, Pastor Couch relocated to Rocky Mount, NC in January 2020. He returned home in March 2020 where he was ordained Elder and later joined Refreshing Springs Church where he serves as the Executive Pastor under the leadership of Bishop Antoine Brown. He is a man of worship, a man of praise and anointed singer who has an incomparable style of ushering in the presence of God. It is his endeavor to continue to be faithful over what God has before him now; to continue to plant and sow while waiting on God to give the increase.
